Hi, my name is Bruna, and being a host wasn't exactly in my plans. So what brought me here? My best guess is that is was a mix of several things, the main ones being:- I was born in Brazil, raised in two different regions of northern Italy, lived in Switzerland and then in Rome (before moving to Tuscany);- I have travelled a lot as a tourist, and every time I was always curious about the details of the venue that was hosting me. Did they leave a bottle of water, a little note, is it clean enough, is it cozy, does it smell good, etc;- I have worked with PR because meeting people and matching them where I saw a common interesting ground was natural for me;- I also worked with events, where I tried to foresee every detail so that all guests would feel comfortable and able to have fun and enjoy the time spent together;- having travelled so much I was always hosting friends and family wherever I was living in that moment, practicing what it means to make someone feel at home while at my own place.All these things came very naturally, without studies or plans, I just did them or made them happen, because I felt fullfilled while doing so. Seeing people happy, enjoying the moment, meeting other people has always been a big joy for me. There are of course a number of other aspects, more personal, like the need of establishing roots for me and my family somewhere, the will to deeply know and live in harmony with a specific territory, to slow down... So, here I am. This woman here is made by Deborah Ciolli, a ceramist who lives in Piombino. When I first saw this sculpture in her atelier I was so fascinated that Deborah looked at me and asked: Bruna, do you want it? Oh I was so flattered! Really? Just like this? It's that time of year when you can take your coffee break outside, on the veranda, in the pergola of the vegetable garden, nestled in the calla lily grove or on the parterre overlooking the Val di Cornia. The important thing is to get a great dose of vitamin D and fresh air so you can start out recharged! ☕️***È quel momento dell'anno in cui fare la pausa caffè all'esterno, in veranda, nella pergola dell'orto, immersi nel boschetto di calle o sul parterre con vista sulla Val di Cornia. The view from the Leccio bedroom: white roses, the terraces with their ornamental grasses, rosemaries and other species that give some color to this corner all year round. This is the room kissed by the morning light. Each bedroom though has its own private door to the garden, because this possibility to fully experience the indoor and the outdoor was in our minds since the renovation started.***La vista dalla camera Leccio: le rose bianche, i terrazzamenti con le graminacee ornamentali, i rosmarini e altre specie che danno colore a questo angolo durante tutto l'anno. Questa è la stanza baciata dalla luce del sol levante. This is how sometimes I recharge my batteries and try to put order into che marvellous chaos I have in my mind.
